About me

I have been playing piano for twenty years and teaching for ten. I love to teach music as a form of expression and fun - the principles of music are useful in so many areas of life, and they're most memorable when you care about your instrument.

Specialties

I particularly like to work with beginners, and I like to work at helping you be comfortable with the piano and experience it in the way that best suits you and your style.

Lesson details

Lessons are very individualized according to student goals and abilities. I like to warm up, work through a lesson book with a reasonable amount of new material and pieces to practice, work through some theory, and ensure a little bit of time for student-selected materials and play.

Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rocky Mountain College
