The Child Prodigy Series - Top rated children's preschool piano program in Sarasota. Unique Group lessons for preschoolers. Children play on quality baby grand piano in variety of colors, ages 3-4 . Note reading and rhythm taught in a fun and educational environment. Small classes.
Music Company - Rock and Roll Bands for Elementary and Teen students. Students perform throughout the year on keyboard, vocal with harmonization, drums, bass, guitar. Junior Company, ages 4-6, Senior Company, ages 7-12, "Chill", ages 13-20, performs "gigs".
Locations: Mondays through Thursdays and twice per month in Sarasota, twice per month on weekends in Boca Raton serving Delray, Deerfield Beach, Pompano, and surrounding areas.
Vocal Professional Workshops: Professional Vocal Training "Sing Like a Star"
Quarterly workshops in Sarasota. Vocal and breathing warm up exercises. Increase your vocal range. Techniques for vibrato. Vocal clarity. How to safely sing a “Rock Scream” and other vocal demands in rock. How to sing for an audition for a school musical or talent show and make the “lead” in a play/musical. Bio’s and headshots and photo shoots for auditions and modeling.

Lesson details

Private Lessons: Piano,Vocal Drums, Guitar, Bass, Clarinet, Recorder: All students are given a well-rounded program of instruction with training in repertoire, note reading, theory, musicianship, ear training, sight reading, technique and performance. For those interested in performance, composition or theory, extra attention is devoted to these areas. Advanced students work on instrumentation and orchestration and assist in preparing for recitals utilitizing orchestral backgrounds. Marcy has developed a unique approach that enables students to learn at an exceptionally fast pace in a nurturing, fun, enthusiastic Music Company", an actual band that is formed to play rock and roll and broadway pieces including drums, lead and rhythm guitar, bass, percussion, piano, electric piano,vocal with harmonization. The Academy performs two large shows per year. The most focused students are asked to join "Music Company. Students are a mixture of those pursuing music scholarships, students with a love of music for fun, parents seeking aid for children with learning disabilities, and adults for enjoyment, stress relief, or seeking to improve cognitive skills.
Tuition and Payment:Tuition payments are expected in advance, on the first of the month for the full month. Payments may be made in cash or by check. Your canceled checks are your receipts.
The level and age of the student determines the length of the lesson. Lesson length increases as the student progresses. Several types of plans are offered.
Plan 1- Ages 2 to 4 : 30 minute weekly customized lessons in the studio, $40 per 30 minutes. Lessons paid weekly in advance, one or two times per week.

Plan 2 - Ages 5+: 60-90 minute weekly lessons in the studio, paid weekly in advance. $40 per 30 minutes, $50 per 45 minutes, $60 per hour , $100 for 90 minutes. All lessons are customized, and lessons are available 1,2 or 3 times per week. A15% discount is given for a second sibling or spouse, 10% for siblings thereafter.

Boca Raton lesson tuition: Lessons are held in the Mission Bay area of Boca Raton, 441/Glades. Travel charge of $5 - $10.00 is added to lessons when Miss Marcy travels to your home in Boca Raton. Lessons are held twice per month 1 or 2 times per weekend, Fridays and Sundays.

Weekend lessons: Available twice per month in Boca, Fridays and Sundays. Limited availability twice per month in Sarasota on Saturdays. Same price schedule.

Music Company: Students between the ages of 4 and 20 are eligible to participate in Music Company and must be able to attend rehearsals two Saturdays per month in Sarasota (3:30 to 4:30 Junior Company, 4:30 to 5:30 Senior Company, "Chill", 5:30 - 6:30) Costs are $100 per month for Senior Company, $60 per month Junior Company. Junior Company has weekly practices as well, alternating Mondays and Fridays 5:30 - 6:30. Costs is $40 per practice per week.

The Child Prodigy Series: Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:15PM. $100 per month paid at the start of the first class. Students may join at any time. Classes held at Piano Distributors on S. Tamiami Trail South of Stickney Point on West side of road in The Child Prodigy Studio.

Studio Locations: Private lessons held in Studios in Palmer Ranch in Sarasota. Child Prodigy Series Group lessons held at Piano Distributors in South Sarasota. Boca Raton lessons held at studio in Mission Bay Boca Raton or your home.

Cancellation policy: One week's notice for rescheduling lessons is required. Lessons are paid for upfront on the day of the first lesson per month. It is important to give notice in order to allow for a rescheduled time, as time slots are scarce due to the large existing base of students. Marcy works with students to be flexible with school schedules for children, and work schedules for adults. However, if students cancel without proper notice consistently, the cost of the lesson will be charged.
