Introducing PTF member Marlene Sabo

The Piano Teachers Federation would like to introduce Marlene Sabo, the newest member of the Piano Teachers Federation.

Marlene holds of a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia where she studied with both Helen Sylvester and Edward Parker. Marlene believes in providing a balanced approach to her students' musical education that includes focusing on both technique and repertoire.

"It is my desire that my students develop a life-long love of music as well as proficiency as a pianist," says Marlene. "Humour and enjoyment are important elements of every lesson. I also believe that the more a student plays, the easier the music becomes--thus regular practise is crucial to musical development."

Marlene is based in Coquitlam where she runs a busy music studio. To learn more about Marlene, please visit: or contact us at the Piano Teachers Federation today.
