About me

"Anyone can learn anything as long as they work hard."

Born in Vancouver, Yvonne speaks English and Cantonese fluently and speaks Mandarin and French at an intermediate level. She can also write Chinese and French. In addition to piano, she plays the organ, violin, and chinese violin (erhu). A composer for 10 years, she has written many pop and jazz piano pieces and is working on a beginner's technique book. She is knowledgeable and versatile & teaches all kinds of music. Under her complete tuition, her students have been fantastically successful in music exams. She has been to Austria & Germany to gain a great deal of information on the Classical composers and Louisiana to learn about jazz music.
