Specialties

I follow the RCM and the BCCM syllabus. Therefore, I teach from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, and 20th century styles. I encourage my students to choose Popular pieces from the Popular Selection list of the RCM so that they get some exposure to jazz. Most of my students take the RCM and the BCCM exams. I teach from beginners to ARCT

Lesson details

The beginner's methods I teach are the Faber and Faber, Hal Leonard and Alfred. I supplement this with hand exercise books of Loth, Dozen a Day and Step by Step to give more exercise in note reading.
