About me

I started playing piano at 7 years old. I absolutely love teaching and enjoy the personal relationship I have with my students and families. Shannon Stephenson piano is a fully licensed business and strives for the highest level of professionalism. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my teaching methods and to make learning piano the best possible experience. I enjoy watching my students go from wanting to learn to play piano to knowing that they can. My goal for every student is that they will be able to sight read with ease, have a knowledge of theory as well as the technique involved in playing. I add music history into my lessons as well as games to make learning fun and interesting. My hope is to inspire a life changing love for music and to share my passion for music and piano.
