Vancouver BC | V5l 1C4

About me

Recently graduated from Vancouver Community College School of Music in the spring of 2011 with a diploma in classical and contemporary piano, with a strong backround in voice and composition. I transferred to VCC from Capilano University where I also studied voice, piano and general arts including German, philosophy, and visual art. I began my piano studies when I was six years old studying mostly through the Royal Conservatory Method and eventually branched out into other methods and styles of which to approach the piano. I am currently teaching students ages 4- 60 all over the Greater Vancouver area. I enjoy getting to know each student individually, and creating a relationship with them, where they feel comfortable to play and learn with me as their guide.
Trained formally in classical music, I as well have experience playing pop, folk, rock, contemporary, experimental and improvised music.

Specialties

Composition and Ear Training.
