About me

Hello. My name is Ryan Faas and I'm a piano teacher in the Langley area. Specifically I teach in Walnut Grove. I've been teaching here for the last 4 years and taught for many more years before that in another city.

I'm a trained jazz pianist with a Bachelor's of Music from the University of Alberta. I grew up learning and playing the RCM repertoire before deciding to switch to jazz in my late teens. Currently I teach students in both jazz and RCM. Both are great techniques to learn and both can help you with playing the other.

I believe that piano lessons should be a fun experience for the student, but I also believe that it is hard work. I will give it everything I have to teach you everything about piano and how to play it, I expect my students to give it their all as well.

I look forward to the opportunity to teach you or your child in the future.
