About me

Richard Kmodras has began learning Cello and Piano at age 6.
At 14, he entered the Music Conservatory in the Czech Republic and graduated with First Class honors, earning his Piano, Cello, Drums, and Theory degrees.

Jana Kmodras has began learning Violin and Piano at age 6.
At 15, she entered the Music Conservatory in the Czech Republic and graduated with First Class honors, earning her Piano, Violin and Theory degrees.

Richard has 25 years of Piano, Drums and Theory teaching experience in Canada and Europe, without limitations on students' age, musical style or level.

Jana has 25 years of Piano, Violin and Theory teaching experience in Canada and Europe, without limitations on students' age, musical style or level.

LESSONS ARE TAUGHT IN YOUR OWN HOME IN THE RICHMOND AREA!
30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, and 120 minute lessons are available.

Education and Accreditation

Richard Kmodras has a Piano, Cello, Drums, and Theory degrees, along with 25 years of performing experience as an accomplished Rock drummer and Choir conductor with various Rock bands and Church choirs in Canada and Europe.

Jana Kmodras has a Piano, Violin and Theory degrees, along with 25 years of performing experience as an accomplished violinist.
Jana is a former member of the CBC Orchestra, Vancouver Opera, Ottawa Civic Orchestra, Hull Chamber Orchestra and the National Opera Theatre in the Czech Republic.
Jana has also recorded an Individual Profile Recording and Concert sponsored by CBC Radio Canada.
