About me

I am a current member of the California Music Teacher's Association. I participate in the Certificate of Merit for those students who want to achieve the highest standard of musical education. I also enjoy teaching students who simply want to play, and play well and have fun. I teach a variety of music--specializing in classical, but I love Jazz as well. I started and have successfully run my own piano studio for over 9 years.

Specialties

I specialize in teaching students good technique, and then focus on musicality. I also enjoy teaching composition

Lesson details

My lessons are generally divided between technique, actual lesson songs, and then performance songs. If students are studying theory, this is also covered.

Education and Accreditation

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. I studied technical writing and Business Management. I also have a paralegal certificate from University of California, Irvine. I have been studying piano with professors at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo for the past 9 years as well.
