About me

Nina holds a B.M in Piano Performance/ Piano Pedagogy with high distinction from Odessa Music College ( Odessa, former USSR)

 She is a Member of Music Teachers National Association and NJ Music Educators Association. Her students have successfully performed in recitals, annual auditions and competitions

 Nina has been teaching Classical piano and pop music for over 20 years privately and in formal Music schools. Her student body includes children, teenagers and adults from age 5,5 to 70. She teaches students at all levels of advancement and pays special attention to beginners as well as to transfer students. Her approach to teaching beginners is up-to-date, yet conventional. Parents and beginning students benefit from her use of method books that have a solid, clear curriculum. She places high value on a well-rounded knowledge of music including reading music, ear-training, proper piano technique, development of beautiful tone and learning music theory. Her students have the opportunity to learn piano playing to any capacity that they wish. Nina is very patient and flexible and always works at a students pace. Her primary concern is that of the student's happiness and success. She applies different student-oriented teaching styles which help create a friendly and fun atmosphere for learning.
