About me

I graduated from Wichita State University with a Performance Degree in French Horn, and with a minor in piano. While there I studied Piano Pedagogy with Francis Wallingford. I then played with the Kansas City Symphony for 24 years as Second Horn. Upon retiring, I turned to teaching piano and have recently written a book for beginners.

Specialties

I have devised a method for teaching people to read music, and it caters to the 4 year old who knows the letters of the alphabet, but hasn't learned to read or write much yet.

Lesson details

I am not at liberty to state details of my method at this time, as it is being reviewed for patent and copyright protection.
