About me

I am a private music teacher, researcher, and a music producer for children's music and contemporary pop music. I have been teaching piano and violin for more than 20 years.

I believe that the purpose of music teaching is to bring the enjoyment of music to people by teaching them the necessary musical knowledge and the performing techniques.

Experience
I started taking piano lessons at age 3 and violin lessons at age 7. I was chosen as a music student in the Music Talent Program in Taiwan at age 9. My career path was set ever since I was a young child. I went to University of British Columbia (B.Mus.), Western Washington University (M. Mus), and University of Victoria (Ph.D.).

I have performed with chamber groups, held recitals, and performed in various festivals. I also accompanied people in these events.

I am also a music producer, song writer, and singer for children's music.

I am a member of BCRMEA.
