About me

I am a piano teacher based in Burnaby, BC. I have been teaching for two years.
I am currently finishing up my music diploma at Vancouver Community College and completing my Grade 10 RCM.
I am planning to continue on in my education and obtain a degree in Music Education. My eventual goal is to have a successful private studio as well as teach music in public schools.
I have been playing piano for sixteen years.
My emphasis is in having fun while learning a valuable skill. I personally believe everyone can benefit from music lessons as it uses so many different aspects of the brain.

Lesson details

I like to tailor my lessons to each individual student and what I focus on will change drastically from person to person.
That said, most lessons will include theory, ear-training, repertoire and technique.

Education and Accreditation

I am currently in my last year of a music diploma from Vancouver Community College and working towards completing the Grade 10 Royal Conservatory.
I have studied piano under Helen Hall for the last two and a half years, as well as studying Piano Pedagogy under Patricia Plumley.
