Lesson details

Focusing on age-appopriate interest, Kate tries to develop each student's musical ear by singing/listening to children's songs, selected popular repertoires, playing different percussive instruments, showing video performances, telling stories that lead to imagination. Emphasis given on right posture and hand shape from early stage.
Use supplementary methods to enhance sight reading and technical foundation. Students occasionally enjoy duet/popular selections suitable for each level. Encourages students to participate music festivals and exams and enjoyed successful results. Rudiments and History lessons are done with detailed explanation and audio-visual materials, and homework is regularly checked and corrected.
