Julie Newby

Oakhurst NJ | 07090

About me

Julie began her musical training at age 5 with piano lessons with her mother. Throughout her childhood and teen years, she was involved with many piano festivals and other musical activities including a professional children's choir, school band and voice lessons. She completed her Degree in Music from the University of Florida School of Music.

As a teacher her mission statement is to help her students find the joy of music at whatever skill level they are in. Some of her students strive to be competitive classical pianists and others want to learn how to compose or play jazz. Her goal is to meet each student where they are and guide them along their path. She specializes in advanced classical but enjoy teaching all levels.
