About me

Irina Jilina a music teacher with a Masters Degree of Music. She have over 15 years of experience working in the Musical Institution of Uzbekistan - Tashkent (formerly part of the Soviet Union) ). As of 2002 Irina Jilina have been residing in Vancouver. From 2002 Irina Jilina have held a private music studio. In 2009 I became the Director of Choir of Federation of Russian-Canadians.

Irina Jilina posses a membership of BCRMTA North Shore Branch from the year 2006. She have also been the official organizer of the Vancouver International Russian Music Festival from 2007 till present(www.viform.org). In March 2010 the Russian Music Festival had 320 participants.
Irina Jilina have both experience and a strong musical education. In her previous position as a private piano music teacher. She taught piano playing to students and organized student concerts and recitals. Irina Jilina have a strong knowledge and understanding of musical theory and historical background. She have extensive client service experience and excellent relationship building skills.

Lesson details

I am inspired by the enthusiasm of my students. I strive to make my lessons full of music-making, in an encouraging and cheerful atmosphere. I also have high expectations for each student, and work to help them achieve their goals.

My studio's mission is to help each student develop a lifelong love of music through playing the piano. It is my priority to make sure students are given the tools they need to become independent learners and reach their potential as musicians.
