About me

Heather is a second-generation music teacher and comes from a family of musicians. She started teaching in her mother’s studio at the age of 14 and has loved working with students of all ages ever since. Heather studied with Edward Parker and Henry Waack in Vancouver, BC. She completed classical training through the Royal Conservatory of Music and holds an ARCT performance diploma. She has a keen interest in history and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Victoria with a Major in Theatre History and Minor in Greek and Roman Studies.

Heather teaches piano, music rudiments, music history and harmony. She loves sharing her joy of music with her two children and looks forward to sharing it with you too.

Lesson details

Patton Piano & Music Studio provides classical training for Royal Conservatory examinations as well as lessons in popular and other genres. Students of all ages and levels are welcome and are encouraged to participate in annual performance opportunities. 1/2 hour, 45 minute and 1 hour lessons are available.
