Hana Chung

Maple Ridge BC | V2W 2B3

About me

Pianist Hana Chung holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Lethbridge in Alberta. Having won competitions, scholarships, and festivals in both Canada and Korea since she was young; she has continued her passion for the piano by being involved with many competitions and recitals in both solo and chamber music performances since.

Her expertise with the piano was gained through a true love of the instrument, many dedicated hours and some very talented professors whom she has studied under which include Mr. Glen Montgomery, Dr. Seung-Hye, Lee, Mrs, Elizabeth Bergmann, Dr. Barrie Barrington and Dr. Pawel Checinski. She was also blessed to be able to attend the masterclass workshops of renowned pianists such as Bergmann Duo, David Jalbert, Lena Henchell and Dmitry Nesterov.

Presently she has an active private piano studio in Maple Ridge, BC and is a faculty member of "Beethoven at home school of music". Her students have won awards in major music festivals including the Kiwanis Music Festival, but she has also a flawless record in assisting her students to not only pass but excel at their RCM exam, Conservatory Canada exam and Undergraduate entrance auditions.
