My teaching style or philosophy follows the basis of customizing each student's lesson plans. I tailor my teaching to the strengths, weaknesses and interests of the individual. I also consider the student's goals and interests compatible with my own views and priorities.

My teacher studied piano pedagogy with Frances Clark. The reading approach to this method teaches landmarks, note direction and interval reading. "There is music in every child. The teacher's job is to find it and nurture it." -- Frances Clark.

I emphasize ensemble playing. Student's need to listen to others
