An experienced piano teacher of traditional, conservatory and Suzuki methods, Diane prepares students for music festivals, recitals, university entrance exams, RCM and LCM piano exams as well as for music history and theory exams. She graduated from UBC School of Music and did teacher training at Bellingham and Langley Suzuki Institutes. She is on faculty at the North Shore Music Academy(1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver), has a private music studio in West Vancouver and is an active member of the BCRMTA.

Experience
For over twenty five years Diane Sanford’s students have achieved top marks at local music festivals, RCM exams and LCM exams. Several of her top students have continued their studies in post-secondary institutions throughout North America and have gone on to rewarding careers in music and other creative and professional fields.

Specialties

Private piano lessons are offered to students of all ages and levels of advancement, Preliminary to ARCT, who wish to enhance their performance skills and achieve their full musical potential.

An audition/interview is required.

Lesson details

Students ages 3 to 5 begin lessons with Suzuki Method and Music for Little Mozarts. Older students study traditional and RCM methods. Students have the opportunity to perform at several recitals per year as well as compete at local music festivals.
