About me

Colleen believes that music is a skill which encompasses many facets of life. She stresses goal setting, time management, risk taking, presentation skills and many more. She teaches an integrated curriculum of musical literacy, including; repertoire development, technique, ear training and theory. Colleen is a full-time classroom music teacher and teaches part-time from her home where students participate and win awards in various festivals and exams. Many students move on to the successful study of music in university/college. Colleen is pleased to teach on a Kawai grand piano and uses Yamaha band instruments. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend lessons with young students if they so wish.
