About me

I began my musical training at age 5 with piano lessons. Thoughout my childhood and teen years I was involved in many piano festivals and other musical activities including a professional children's choir, school band, and voice lessons. I completed the Royal Conservatory of Music A.R.C.T. Teacher's program and I am an active member of the South Fraser branch. As a teacher my mission statement is to help my students find the joy of music at whatever skill level they are at. Some of my students strive to be competative classical pianists, and others want to learn how to compose or play jazz. My goal is to meet each student where they are at and guide them along their path. I specialize in advanced classical, but enjoy teaching all levels.

I have over 15 years experience teaching piano and 10 years experience teaching music history and theory courses.
